Beauty & Pain Series was inspired by the life and memory of Shontique (Teek) Barnes.

Shontique was a woman whose love was pure and raw. When she loved, she loved wholeheartedly. She gave her heart freely, stood firmly in her truth, & never apologized for speaking her mind.

She believed in authenticity, honesty, & being true to yourself, even when the truth was difficult to hear.

Before her passing, Shontique was on a journey of healing, growth, & self-discovery. She was becoming the best version of herself while learning to embrace ever chapter of her story.

Beauty & Pain Series was created to carry her spirit forward.

The brand represents the understanding that life is made up of both beautiful moments and painful ones. Through every challenge, setback, victory, & breakthrough, we continue to grow.
